Cardboard POS gives Akzo Nobel sizeable sales uplift in B&Q & Homebase

Cirka provided Akzo Nobel with both POS design, and cardboard display manufacturing solutions for their hugely successful 2016 campaign in B&Q and HomeBase giving the brands a sales uplift in both retailers.

Over 600 cardboard POS displays were designed and manufactured for Homebase and B&Q stores nationwide

How to increase product sales by educating the shopper with POS

The innovative cardboard displays give both brand impact and actively look to inspire shoppers whilst simultaneously educating the shopper as to which product is right for them.  Our experience in the DIY sectors allowed the POS design team to work with Akzo Nobel to present the most relevant information related to the shoppers need state without overloading them. Add some innovative POS design and this increased awareness, reducing shopper dropout and helping to create an uplift of 16% within stores with our new Ducksback cardboard POS displays.

Your displays have to be instore to achieve your marketing goals

Time and time again we see potentially great designs fail instore due poorly selected materials or incorrectly fitted POS units.  That’s why with this, and all projects, we took time to understand all the retail spaces, not just the common ones and took this into account in both the POS display design, development as well as the materials selected for the POS manufacture.  The numbers speak for themselves, with 93% of units being installed successfully on the first visit.

Communicate with approachable and inspiring POS displays

Building on the new ‘Colour in the Garden’ proposition created by Cirka earlier this year, which seen in the Llantrisant Leekes store, a new promotional end has also been installed into 265 Homebase stores. The exclusive versions of the new Garden Shades end replaces Cirka’s POPAI award winning end from 2015.
